Edgar was a lovely frog,
his best friend was Ned, the dog.
Frog that was so very unique,
one in a million, well – so to speak.
He was pure white, with eyes bright red,
(in the beginning he even scared Ned).
“Why am I different than all the others,
my cousins, aunties, uncles and brothers?” –
Edgar asked Mommy one afternoon,
licking Nutella out of a spoon.
“You are so extraordinary,
almost like imaginary.
Being different is quite great –
something you should appreciate.
Other frogs look all the same –
look how famous you became!”.
